She's Gone (Xavier)

Xavier had called a private meeting with him today. Artemis just couldn't believe it. His best friend had vanished into the night. He felt so utterly alone that he didn't even know what to do. He wanted to go and see Carlos but he knew that he needed to speak with Xavier. He sat completely motionless waiting on his leader to enter the room. Visions of possible futures kept swirling in his head but he kept them carefully guarded just in case Xavier was nearby. He felt like keeping his thoughts private for a little while.

Xavier sighed he had to check on Artemis he knew how he was feeling at the moment. He called for a meeting with him knowing that he needed to make sure that he is okay a lot had gone on lately he dropped a bomb on the entire coven and Karina left. Knocking on the door before he entered. "How are you doing Artemis?" He asked as he walked over to him and placed a hand gently on Artemis' shoulder. Over the past few days or was it hours he felt completely broken like the man he truly was. He had lost everything when he came back to coven he was on the run and had vowed not to tell anyone unless he had to. Xavier knew that he could not keep it from his coven any more that was why he told them. Yet again he had not figured it would end so badly. Gripping Artemis' shoulder gently he really was not sure what was going to happen next they had already lost one member and he was uncertain if they were going to lose another Amber.

Artemis heard the knock and seen Xavier walk in. He knew how this was going to go for the most part. He smiled as Xavier spoke and put a hand on his shoulder. He may not have been Xavier's child but he had a close bond with the man. "I'm fine Xavier. I knew what to expect." He said quietly, his beautiful voice sounding like wind chimes. He focused on the future of his coven once more and smiled. he spoke directly into Xavier's mind, "Everyone else will stay with you. I'm just worried about her..." Karina had been his best friend. He was slightly lost without her. He also had yet to tell Xavier about Carlos. He was sure his leader knew but he wanted to wait until things were concrete before he said anything.
