Questionable measures. Questionable meals. Forks City (carly)

Gigi was so hungry. He had wandered for days. There was still some blood splatter on his face but he had gotten most of it off. The weird part was unlike most kids his age he hadn't been scared or freaked out by it. Nor did he even get sick over it. It fascinated him and made him hungrier than he was getting. Now after days of wandering with not but nuts and berries here and there he was starving. Animalistically starving. His eyes a pitch black from how hungry he was. Scents seemed to hit him stronger. A familiar coppery scent hit his nose as a bum who hand was spliced open stumbled past and fell down. Without thinking he jumped on top of the guy and bit onto the side of the hand.

Red liquid hit his mouth that made him bite down harder. He slowly felt less hungry. Fear soon hit him and he let go. Bolting off with blood covering all over his mouth and dripping down his chin. The bum babblign crazily about feral beasts behind Gigi, as gigi ran bare foot away from him. "Wh-what happened? Why did I do that?" He asked outloud. Wiping the blood of his face with the back of his hand. His stomach a mixture of liking and not as he ran until he fell down in a more populated area of Forks. Eyes back to normal now though. No signs other than his normal odd features showed anything abnormal of him.

Carly was wandering around she had shopping to do for her mama she smelled blood and jogged to see if someone was hurt she saw a little boy. "Hey kid you okay? Did this man hurt you?" She looked at the kid who seemed scared and alone she walked to him slowly and looked at the man. "Where are your parents kid?" She asked softly and knelt down infront of the boy so she didn't seem so tall to him. He looked like a pup no more then five or six from what she could tell.

Gigi blinked a bit and saw an older girl run over. He had wiped all the blood off his face except the dried splatter from the attack. Blinking a bit he looked to the crazy bum who was still running around now screaming about feral monsters or something. Looking to her as he mentally contemplated saying yes just to see what she would do when his stomach growled loudly. He flushed a bit. "Hungry." He got out. Understanding her language as English. He looked up at her. "Monsters killed my caravan. Lady do you have money or food?" He slowly sounded out. "Hungry." He stomach growled again and his hands went to his stomach. Still so hungry. It was like nothing but the thirst went a minute ago.

Carly frowned and opened her bag she took out a apple and jucie box. She held them out slowly and smiled softly. "Here Ya go I would give you more but my mama has to cook it if you want you can come back with me I'll make you something better to eat...uhh sorry you never said your name pup. My names Carly" she didn't realize she had called him a pup but that's what he was a pup in her eyes. She smiled at her and stood up slowly holding her hand out. "I'll give you some money to if you want kid but you ether have to wait here or come with me" She didn't want to leave the kid here but she didn't want to force him to follow her home.

Gigi looked at her and took the apple and juice box. "Thank you." He said with a smile. Putting the straw in the juice box and drank from it quickly. "Yummy." He said happily. Grinning more as he started to munch the apple. Looking at her as she spoke. Blinking a bit. "No thanks lady. I'm a traveling gypsy. I just needed food. I gotta try to find the other half the caravan. The ones not with us when attacked." He smiled at her.

One hand held the apple the other the juice box. He blinked a bit. Offering his elbow to her as he took a big bite of apple. "Gigi." He said with a slightly full mouth. Sipping from the juice box. Looking at her as she spoke. "I can wait here. I'd appreciate that." He said with a smile.

Carly laughed softly she shook her head. "Well if your looking for gyspsy you are in the wrong place kid. No grypsyss around here for a while not that I know off they most likely are at the bigger city's." She smiled she woundered if this kid was just a run away who hit his head or something. She smiled and slowly stood up laughing as he offered his elbow. She brushed her pants off and smiled. "Okay umm I guess you stay here I'll be back" she made sure no one was looking even the kid she made sure was turned away before she ran off quickly. She came back a few moments later with out her bags and a new bag. She smiled and took the bag off. "Here some food for a couple of days and a bit of money mama said there wasn't a lot in there but enough for a few things" she kneeled down and set the bag beside him. "Kid you sure Ya are gonna go and try to find some grysyss you may not find them you know"

Gigi looked at her and seemed to droop a bit like a wilting flower when she said that. "I already had to go for three days or so without anyone." He pouted a bit before he finished off the apple and slowly drank the rest of the juice box. It was really good juice. He looked at her as she ran off. He sat down where she left him and waited. He held the empty juice box and wondered what to do with it now. Looking at the girl when she came back a few moments later. Looking at her and smiled. Hugging the bag to him. "Thank you Carly." He was surprised how nice and helpful she was. Others had passed by him and not helped. She gave him yummy juice an apple and more food!

He hugged the bag to him as he just sat there a bit. Really tired. "Yeah. I have to try. The romani gyspies are my family. All of them. With the others dead the other caravan of the gypsy clan is my only family." He said after a long thought. Looking up at ther. "First I need to find somewhere to sleep." He admitted after an adorable yawn left his lips. "I can't give up. Its not our way."

Carly sighed and sat down infront of him and crossed her legs. "You don't truly have to go you could stay...I know what it's like to not have a family kid." She smiled softly. She didn't want this pup going though what she went though. She felt bad for him loading his family to some beasts she bet it was vampires they were heartless. She crossed her legs and smiled softly. "I'm sorry your family is gone now kid. Even if Ya don't stick around I hope you find your friends." She smiled softly and looked at him sideways "the beasts you spoke of that harmed your family were they vampires?" She asked softly she didn't know if this kid knew what vampires were but she just wanted to know.

Gigi looked at carly as she spoke. Yawning again and just dropped the empty juice box. A tiny fist rubbing his eye a bit. "I just have to find the other half. Then I have them. You said you have a mom. Did you not always have one?" He asked the words said slowly as the accent in his voice showed more the longer the sentence or speaking he did. He yawned a bit and looked at her as she spoke. "Thank you carly. You given me food and company." He said with a warm smile.

He looked at her. "No. Granny gyspy was a vampire. These things looked like foamy mouth huge mutant doggys but their eyes all red like a vampires." he said after a moment. He had to think back to it and he had just wanted to forget. He shivered a bit. "They were scarier than the mountain lions we ran across one time and faster. They weren't nice and killed the wolf and other animals." He said. Sounding out some words and others he just repeated from his elders.

Carly froze "wer-werewolves" she spoke softly "they were werewolves kid" she looked down werewolves didn't attack for no reason unless they were strays but it sounded like they had a pack. She held onto her other hand. "Ya know not all werewolves are bad kid...most of them are really really kind" she spoke softly and looked down sighing. "Come on let's get you somewhere to sleep okay." She smiled and stood up holding her hand out for his. "If you get to tired I can carry you okay"

Gigi looked up at her sleepily. "Huh? I don't know what that is. One of them killed another in the pack cuz it got in its way." He mumbled a bit. Looking at her a bit. "What is a werewolf?" he asked in confusion. Looking at her a bit. "Do you know any Carly?" he asked curiously. Standing up hugging the bag to him. Taking ahold of her hand with his own. He looked down a bit. "Okay. I'm happy you helping me Carly. Thank you." he said with a smile.

Carly sighed and frowned that was just evil no pack should harm another pack member. "Ya I know quite a few kid" she sighed she wouldn't tell him that she was a wolf just incase that scared him. "They are like half wolf and half human they can change into a wolf they are sorta like a shifter if you know what those are but can only change into a wolf. They are also a lot faster and heal quicker then normal humans and there senses are more advanced then humans not as much as vampires but not much lower ether"

Gigi looked at Carly as she spoke. "Okay then." He said with a sleepy tone. Holding her hand and walking with her. Listening to her as she spoke a bit. "They are? These seemed to have less  senses than the strays." He said softly. He looked at her a bit. "I guess there could be some. Carly I'm sleepy." He said softly. He looked at her and stumbled as he started to fall asleep on his feet. He was so tired. The days of running and hunger prior to food catching up to him and quickly.

Carly picked the small boy up seeing he was tired and held him to her body. She took his bag and put it on her shoulders she tried to think of were he could sleep. She kept wandering away from the city and into the woods she heard her brothers and sisters from the pack running around she knew she was going to go with them later but now she had a pup to make sure he was safe. She smiled seeing him almost a sleep. "Come on now lets get you somewhere safe to sleep and make sure it's comfy as well" she smiled but she had no clue were to take him.

Gigi blinked as he was picked up. Even though she'd said she would..he hadn't expected it. He let her and wrapped his free arm around her after letting her hand go. He whimpered when she took the treasure bag she'd given him. His legs moved to hug onto her form. He was too tired to realize if he was held to her on the side or in the front. His now freed other arm moved to join his left arm around the older girls form. She still had a strange smell to her. Like those beasts but she didn't stink like death and disease. Icky medicine as he once said. His eyes were drooping as she carried him. Who knows where. He spoke back to her but it wasn't likely she'd understant the Romani tongue. He nuzzled into her. She had a heartbeat like some of the ones who carried him in the caravan. The strange sound lulled him to sleep. With broken english syllables he mumbled out another statement. "Thank you Carly."

Carly smiled softly and made sure he didn't fall she smiled and looked at a old house that seemed deserted she wandered in and thanked the lord that there was a old bed that seemed someone comfy she sat down on it and slowly laid him down she petted his hair back and smiled resting the bag on the ground she looked around and found a old pillow and slipped it under his head. She took her jacket and sweater off and covered him up in it. She smiled and sat down on the ground and smiled "your welcome" she spoke softly and sat there protecting the pup.

(okay well in my post I'm transitioning to next morning and gigi probably going to part ways with carly after they get to town again)

Gigi was lightly drifting in and out of sleep. He felt a strange petting of his hair after he was laid down. The strangely plump bed seemed to move a bit. Or it was just different from the beds in the caravans that he was used to. Either way he was already out cold by the time she put a pillow under his head and covered him in her jackets and sweaters. Strangely they seemed to be a bit warm still. How odd. He slept until around seven the next morning. Not completely without tossing and turning but by seven he was up and out of the bed. Finding the bag she gave him and decided to go through it.

Carly had woken up early and had took a run she didn't know he was up but she nudged the door open with her hand. She was glad that she shifted back. "Morning kid" she smiled "come on let's get Ya off okay" she smiled and she had a tiny cut above her eyes from running into a tree. "How was you sleep kid" she smiled.

Gigi found a juice box and sat down after pulling it out. Struggling with the wrapper to free the straw. Then spent quite a few minutes with an adorably focused expression trying to puncture the straw through the silver circle. By the time he managed to do so he heard Carly's voice. "You have an owwie. Are you okay Carly?" He asked in the slowly pronounced and stated words. He sipped at the juice box and stood up. Finding the strap for the bag and put it over his shoulder. Turning to face her. Wobbling a bit as it was a bit heavier than he'd expected but he soon caught his balance. "It was okay mostly." He said with a smile. "Can you take me to town? I need to ask the grown people things." He asked and said hopefully. Smiling at her as he sipped the juice box.

Carly nodded and smiled she touched her cut "I'm fine kid" she smiled she bit her lip and looked down. "Come on then." She smiled she grabbed his hand and slowly walked to the middle of the town "what do you need to ask the grown ups Gigi?" She asked softly and looked down as she walked

Gigi looked at her a bit. Tilting his head to the side. "Alright." He sipped the juice box because she was nice. Yet he didn't want to grow attached to her. People just vanished too quickly. Plus he had a really bad dream...along with weird dreams not his. Not that he would say it. He looked at her a bit. Smiling sweetly at her. "It's a secret." He said with a giggle. Mostly as he didn't know how to tell her. English was taught to him but it wasn't his native tongue. He walked towards town with her. Sipping his juice box.

Carly smiled and laughed messing with the kids hair. "You be safe out here k kid." She smiled softly she knew he was just some kid but she was reminded of when she was his age. "Ya ever need a place kid me and mama are always here" she smiled and ruffled his hair smiling "take care of yourself pup" she smiled and leaned against a wall. She smiled softly at him and waited for him to leave.

Gigi looked at her and smiled a bit. Messing his hair up reminded him of good times with the gyspy hag and the others. He grinned at her a really silly smile. "Heeee." he said cutely as he grinned big at her. Giggling and nodded his head. He was happy this older girl had a mother now. He smiled back at her. "You too Carly. Even if don't get why you keep saying pup its silly and cute. It fits Carly. Bye now." He said. Waving as he let go of her hand and took off into the city with his bag of drinks, food and the money she gave him thrown over his shoulder. He needed to find people. He thought he made a new friend of sorts.
