Hunting (All Cullens)

David stood by Xavier's side, still as stone, the rest of the Cullens behind him. it had been 3 weeks since they had fed, and David thought it was high time they had a 'family outing' the wind was low today, and it was cloudy, which was normal. David sniffed the air, hoping for the scent of some mountain lion, or even a bear. he wanted a challenge today. His lust for human blood was slowly dying, but he still wanted the thrill of the chase, the fight...

he muttered "do you smell anything?' to no one in particular.

Karina stood at Artemis' side as she tried to decide as to what she wanted to feed on that day. Normally she would pick anything but today just was obviously not an anything type of day. They had not went on a hunting trip in three weeks and it was starting to get to her. She took in a scent of something that smelled rather delectable and decided that her family didn't need a babysitter right now and dashed off into the distance. As she went through the trees she smelled her prey very close. Soon she was right on top of her prey, she then seen her victim, a deer that had the misfortune of catching her nose. She quickly tackled the deer and drained it of all it's blood. Feeling satisfied she rushed back to her family and waited for Xavier to make the call of all done.

Xavier waited patiently for his prey to come by when he saw a big strong wild boar come into view. He quickly ran after it chasing it down until he finally caught upto it. pouncing on it he bit down on the back of the neck and held until it stopped it's fight he then let go and moved to the jugular and drank it dry before he moved back to the rest of his coven. "See anything you like yet David and Artemis?" He asked as he wiped his mouth. Giving them all a smile they were his family after all.

Irina, even after all these years she had been spending with the Cullens, still felt out of her waters. They all got along, since they were a Coven, but she was always the quiet one. She even doubted that anyone knew about her Special Ability. It was not needed, after all. At least for now.

Her eyes darted from David to Xavier, to Karina, and then back to Xavier. Both, Karina and Xavier had decided what their meal should be, but David and she, had yet to find something to feed off of.

The girl let her eyes scan the area, wanting to find something strong, and dangerous. Something that would satisfy her thirst, and would make her feel powerful.

Her eyes landed upon a panther, staring at them from behind a bush. A devilish smile came upon her lips, and she smirked, ready to attack. The panther understood that and took off, but Irina wouldn't give up. She started running and running, until she finally reached the panther, wrapping her arms around its neck, and sinking her teeth into it, drying it off of its blood.

Once she was done, she licked her lips of any trace of blood, and ran back to the rest of the Family. It was safer if they were all together.
"Panthers are always so... tasty.."

He watched his family go running off after prey, but he had yet to smell something that took his fancy. He almost went for the Panther, but Irina went after it before he could lay claim. so he squatted close to the ground, and opened up all his senses to its full potential. he even created a small breeze, so he could smell things farther off.

Countless deer reached his nostrils, but he wanted something more, substantial. something, more..fun. He then picked up the distant scent of a mountain lion. Perfect he thought. he gave a quiet growl before he sprinted after it.

It was so far away though, that it took him two minutes to reach it. He tackled it, breaking its neck with a sharp jerk. then bit into its neck and drank it. when he was finished, he was bout to run back to his coven, when he heard a growl behind him, another lion had snuck up on him while he had been too busy feeding.

he turned as the lion tackled him. , they rolled around in the dirt for a few second before David bit into its neck, draining that one as well. with a satisfied sigh. he ran back to his coven

"well, I'm full to bursting. two mountain lions appear to be my max" he smirked

Artemis had been standing perfectly motionless in the middle of the woods, he waited until he seen his future and the disappeared dancing into the trees. He followed his vision and noticed the elk that stood by a beautiful brook. He stared at the animal that looked as if it were deciding whether to run or to stand his ground. Artemis didn't feel like ruining his designer shirt today so he launched himself at the animal and took it down, latching onto it's neck letting the blood seep into his body as he fed. When the elk was drained he looked down and there was not a spot on him. He grinned his dazzling smile and floated through the trees as he appeared beside David once more. He was impressed that he was one of the last to feed. As he floated to his cousin Irina he smiled at looked into his future and knew that they were due a shopping trip. He decided Milan would be there next destination. He had already raided the newest Paris collection and had little of interest left for him.
