The morning after.

Casey woke up slowly , and sleepily. It was almost lunchtime, and she woke up hearing someone reading. Rolling over Casey smiled and sleepily woke to the sound of David reading . " Morning ." She said sleepily , yawning and wiping sleep out of her eyes. She looked up at him, gently wrapped in her blankets .

It had been a long night so David took the only reading material with in arms reach. His own book 'The survival". he had spent most of the night reading, so was already 2 3rds through it. Just as she woke up David had muttered "I had almost forgotten I had written that death in"

he then looked over and said softly "Good Morning Casey, how are you doing?"

Casey frowned , what did he just say? " Don't tell meh, your David Shuter." She mumbled, before answering the rest of his statements . " I am doing hyaaaahh well." Casey answered between a yawn, slowly stretching to wake up. " Not a morning person though."

David shrugged and said "I was. He is long dead though.." He died the moment David was turned into a vampire. he then chuckled and said softly "Well, its a good thing its almost noon then." He smirked.

Casey groaned , " Guh that means yo signed the books ! Ohh now I have so many questions ! " she said , before laying back down. " Dun care, it's still morning until I get up and get ready for the day. How the hell Red goes weeks without sleeping I don't know! Screw the all nighters.. I'm too old. " she said, laying on his chest and not giving David a choice about it .

David sighed and rolled his eyes "Here we go. And no, I did not sign them recently. I got bored like 20 years ago and signed like a couple hundred copies. I sell them off every few years to keep our finances up" He then smirked at her next comment and said "I'm much older, and I can go 80 years with out sleep..."

Casey rolled her eyes, "Don't worry I wont be bombarding you with questions." She said, laughing softly and nodded as he explained his side.

"80? By god, your ancient.....Whats your secret to looking so good?" She teased, laughing. "So no coffins?"

He smirked "Last time you said that you began bombarding me with questions" (as they're real books I'm writing I could probs answer them) he chuckled softly. When she mentioned him being ancient he laughed "I'm actually closer to 100 counting human years. My secret is being frozen at 17 forever." He then rolled his eyes and said "No coffins."

(I don't know anything about the books so just gm her asking )

Casey laughed, "Well technically I had some, just when you asked about it being as you were a vampire I didn't. " She politically pointed out and smirked. "Hmm good secret, and old man much? Can you still get it up?"

Jokingly she asked that, and sighed. "Well damn, I think coffins are sexy. So no sleep at all?"

(I hate Gming. Heres my attempt though)

David nodded and then sighed when she asked if he had named the characters in the Survival after his friends, just changing the names. "They were my old friends, ones I had until I left Trenton for Forks. They dumped me long before that though.. the reason I included them was because it was partly their idea to hole up in Independant. We made this plan when we were younger you see.. then I thought the perfect way to give everyone a Trenton the idea to hole up there in a Zombie Apocalypse was write a book about it.. so I did. Wasn't finished until I was like 28 though."

At her sexual joke he sighed and said "When I was human, I would have told you to find out for yourself. yet if I was human we would probably both be naked now" he reasoned at the end. He then nodded "None at all."

Casey lavender nodded and listened, "Oh okay, cool." She said, "Wait twenty eight vampire years, or when you were turned until you were going to turn 28?"

Casey laughed again softly, "Well if I was vampire I probably would say that too. Guess we will have to come to an eventual compromise. And no sleep? Wow. that would be different for sure. "

David rolled his eyes "When I was going to turn 28. We usually take our Human years into account when figuring out our age." He then smirked at her next words and said "Oh really, what Compromises do you have in mind?" A life without sleep did indeed open up 8 hours that most people did not have, but in truth it was really boring unless you had a mate to spend it with.

Casey silently listened, "Ahh cool" She commented, listening and following along before smirking as he asked what comprimises. "You'll find out soon enough. Now I need a shower." She smirked again, getting up in her pyjamas and going to her joining bathroom. Teasingly leaving the door open just a crack before stripping off and getting into the shower.

David Snorted as she mentioned taking a shower and said "I'll let you have your human time then" he however noticed how she left the door open a crack, as if inviting him to join her. Luckily he had great self control so he stayed where he was, his eyes anywhere but the bathroom door. He wondered if it had ever been this hard for Edward.. though Bella was probably not as sexual as Casey, not coming on to him at every turn

Casey smiled softly to herself and showered under the hot steam and hot water. Scrubbing herself clean and enjoying the warmth of the kiss of the water on her skin.

Once she was done and clean Casey took a bath robe around herself, and walked out and smiled. "I would offer breakfast, but I don't think you guys eat it. " She said, assuming that they didn't really eat human foods.

David chuckled and gave her a teasing look over in her bath robe. "Are you sure you want to be in such, vulnerable clothing, with a Vampire just meters away." he knew it didn't matter if she was in a bath robe or a titanium suit, it would be just as easy for him to get her out of it if he wanted to.

At mention of breakfast David rolled his eyes. "See i would.. but I had a lot to drink last night, and don't think I could stomach solid food" He teased.

Casey laughed and shrugged, "No I just need to get some clothes on. Give me a moment." With that Casey took some clothes and disappeared back into the bathroom.



When Casey was fully dressed and ready she came back out and sat on the bed again, "Oh so much to drink huh?" she teased back. "Must be a lightweight and can't handle it."

David smirked and said 'That's still not going to protect you much. If I wanted in, you would be powerless." He said, half joking and half serious. She did not seem to get how dangerous he was.. even after she saw him rip apart two vampires in like a second.

David rolled his eyes and said softly "I'd like to see you drink two full mountain Lions and still have the stomach for breakfast"

Casey smirked and laughed back softly, "Uhuh well you are still yet to show it." She said, rolling her eyes slightly.

"Well turn me and you could, but no matter. No matter." Casey told him, laying on her bed boredly. "So what do you want to do now."

David eyes flashed for a second before he asked lowly "You really are testing my self control aren't you? Not only is your blood incredibly difficult to resist, but you have the body of a supermodel that you are so bluntly tossing at me. Do you have a death wish?" She seemed to think he was human by the way she was acting.

When she asked what they should do, he shrugged and said "Well maybe I should go.."

Casey smirked to herself, "No I know you aren't human, and no I don't have a death wish I just want to be yours." She said simply.

"Oh fine then. stay the night and leave I don't mind one night stands." She joked, "Or you could stay and we could watch a movie or something?"

David shook his head "Thats pretty strong feelings for someone you just met yesterday" He said softly, but his self control was tumbling. He wanted her too. He then rolled his eyes and said just as softly "The difference is nothing happened, while if it really was a one night stand, you would have literally been screwed." He however stayed where he was and shrugged, letting her decide.

Casey laughed softly, "Oh well love at first sight." she said, laughing softly. "Well I mean I did sleep, I don't know what you did. Read I guess."

Casey smiled softly and kept listening, "I think...no.. I would. I would like you to stay. I have the day free with Red out, and its the weekend so..Movie time!!"

David chuckled softly and said "Well who I am to get in the way of Love at first sight?" He then nodded softly when she mentioned watching a movie and wanting him to stay and said "You chose it, odds are I've seen it." He placed his arms behind his head, getting comfortable.

Casey smiled, "Only the cupid." She answered, laughing as he said he had probably seen it. "Doubt it, Red has movies on her internet that haven't been released officially yet." Casey laughed.

"Okay, hmm Dead Man walking. Love at Second sight. Or Terminator 93?" she asked, leading him through the house to the kitchen. "First things first I want food."
